Dear Shaykh Prof. Palazzi:
Hi there. I just read this "lovely"
sermon which was delivered, I believe, by the Palestinian
[Resident Arab] Authority appointed Mufti in Jerusalem.
Historically and politically, the Mufti's anti-Jewish ravings
are just nonsense. But what do you make of it religiously and
theologically? Can this rhetoric be refuted in language which
the Mufti and his followers will understand? Please let me
know.

The P.A. Appointed Mufti Mr. Sabri Says:
(Sermon given by the P.A. appointed Mufti at
the Al Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount on October 9, 1998)
"I seek refuge with ALLAH from the
Satan. In the Name of ALLAH the Merciful and the
Compassionate. All praise is due to Allah and may peace be
upon our Prophet Muhammad his family and companions and the
ones that follow his path till the day of judgement. I
witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is
His slave and His messenger."
"O people, O you who believe! Fear
Allah, and let every soul look to what (provision) He has
sent forth for the morrow. Yea, fear Allah: for Allah is
well-acquainted with (all) that you do." (Qur'an: Alhashr
59:18)
O Muslims, Isn't there enough killing in the
Muslim Ummah (community of believers)? Isn't there enough
falling into these many craters around the Muslim Ummah?
Isn't it time for the Muslim Ummah to realize where good
exists, to stop killing each other, and to stop executing the
imperialist infidel's plans?
Look how the crusaders had not stopped until
they had let the Jews do whatever they wanted. Look how the
unholy tripartite alliance that destroyed the Islamic
Khalifah is returning with a new plot against Muslims.
Britain, her Turkish and Arab agents and the
Jews are getting together for a new plot. These grandchildren
of Ataturk (the British agent who destroyed the Khalifah),
the commanders of the Turkish army, are putting themselves in
the hands of the Jews and the British who plan to shed new
Muslim blood.
O Muslims, what is happening now on the
Syrian-Turkish borders is a new plot against Muslims by the
spiteful Jews, because the Jews hate the Turkish, the
Syrians, and everyone who says "there is no god but
Allah."
Do we not remember the ones who offered gold
to Sultan Abdul Hameed (The Ottoman Khalifah at the beginning
of this century) in order to get them a national homeland in
Palestine?
They are the Jews, and the Sultan refused
their request replying: "To have the dagger tear my body
apart is easier for me than to tear the Muslim land apart by
giving you Palestine, Palestine is owned by all
Muslims", but he paid the price of this honorable stand
when they conspired and succeeded to oust him from his
position, and with his fall the Islamic Khalifah also fell
with the help of the Dunma Jews headed by the British agent
Mustafa Kamal Ataturk.
Now Ataturks' grandchildren are plotting a
new war that might inflame the whole region between Sunni and
Shia. And Israel will emerge from that war the strongest
regional state. The Jews now find the time appropriate with
the American political weakness in the region.
The weak Clinton, this man who was
blackmailed by the Jews through the use of his sexual
scandals. The Jews sent their prostitutes after Clinton and
finally it was the Jewish Monica Lewinsky who succeeded in
the so-called Monicagate. This is like Irangate, Contragate,
Watergate...all these were concocted by the Jews to pressure
the American president at the right time.
And now the right time had come in order for
them to implement their plans in the Middle East.
O Muslims, this is a habit of the Jews
throughout history. They have killed their own Prophets. They
have conspired against the saints. And we know that they bite
the hand that helps them.
Look what they have done to Herodous
[Hadrian], they made him marry Esther [!?!] and they wanted
through Esther to control the Roman Empire [!?!] until
Chitous [Titus] became angry and came to Jerusalem and
destroyed their temple over their heads, killing them in the
beginning of A.D. [C.E. - the Common Era] chronology.
Clinton is in no way better than Herodous.
And the Jews will in no way change their habits and malicious
actions.
The Muslims in Turkey have carried and
embraced the Khalifah for hundreds of years. It would be
strange for the Muslims in Turkey to let their army leaders
continue in this disgraceful manner. Is it not the time for
Muslims not only in Turkey but also throughout the Muslim
world to stop their corrupted leaders?
The Jews are like the rest of the imperialist
infidels.
"If they get an advantage over you,
they respect not in you the ties either of kinship or of
covenant? With (fair words from) their mouths they entice
you, but their hearts are averse from you; and most of
them are rebellious and wicked." (Qur'an: Al-Tawba
9:8)
There should be no more silence. Its
"haram" to stay silent. Muslim blood should be shed
in Jihad to carry Islam and to defend Islam, but it should
not be shed in the battles of the traitors. Has there not
been enough bloodshed in Egypt, bloodshed in Kosovo,
bloodshed in Palestine, bloodshed in Kashmir, bloodshed in
Afghanistan, bloodshed in Shishan...Why has Muslim blood
become so cheap?
But it definitely will not restore its high
value until we return back to Islam and Islam re-manifests
again in the Islamic Khalifah.
Listen now to a hadith of the Prophet
Muhammad, peace be upon him: "If a man went to kill
another man, then the killer is in Hell and the one who was
killed will be in Paradise." Altabarany in Alawsat.
And in another hadith: "Whoever
participates in killing an innocent Muslim, he will come on
the day of Judgement with the following written between his
eyes: Desperate from the mercy of Allah."
O Muslims, the Ummah should wake up from her
sleep.
The Ummah should know that her silence will
not prevent death and torture against her, but the opposite,
it will increase. The Ummah should work to bring back the
Khalifah which will stand up to America and Britain. The
Khalifah will work to end the imperialist control over
Muslims. The Khalifah will organize the troops to carry Islam
to the world and to rescue the world from the imperialist
infidels so justice can prevail all over the world.
Amen.

This sermon confirms my opinion that Mr.
Sabri is neither a Muslim scholar nor a Mufti, but just
another small time sidekick to PLO Gangster and Arab Mafia
Godfather Abdul Rauf el-Codbi el-Husseini ("Yasser
Arafat").
Sabri's silly sermons only increase ignorance
and fanaticism.
From a formal point of view, the sermon does
not follow any of the rules for proper Friday sermons. After
the traditional formulas of opening, a proper sermon must
contain a quotation from the Qur'an and its commentary and
must end with supplications, requests for forgiveness, etc.
On the contrary, Mr. Sabri quotes a Qur'anic verse without commentary, and then goes on with his political
speech.
The other quotation Mr. Sabri uses (Qur'an: Al-Tawbah 9:8) has absolutely nothing to do with Jews. It
deals with pagan Arabs who expelled the Prophet Muhammad from
Mecca. Anyone can see this by simply reading the verse
preceeding that which Mr. Sabri quotes (Qur'an: Al-Tawbah
9:7), where the argument begins.
Moreover, according to Mr. Sabri, Queen
Esther of Persia lived in the Roman Empire! What a moron!
From a political point of view, belief in a
restoration of the Caliphate is not part of the platforms of
either the PNA or Hamas. It is, however, preached by an
extreme group called Hizbu-t-Tahrir.
In addressing this theme, el-Husseini's
("Arafat") sidekick Sabri is probably offering this
group an alliance with the Palestinian Authority. In making
this proposal, Mr. Sabri certainly has el-Husseini
("Arafat") behind him.
